Lee Alexander McQueen was born in 1969 London, leaving school at the age of 16 for an apprenticeship with various famous tailors. He even traveled and worked in Italy then returning to London in 1994 to receive his masters’ degree in Fashion Design. His graduation collection was bought in its entirety and he then changed his line name from Lee to Alexander.
